I don't know, this year is being weird. I think we are afraid that 2016 will kill Black Friday before it happens.

Why can't it just be a special one or two day event? It's basically an entire month nowadays.. totally defeats the purpose of "Friday"(notice the singular word there lol)

I imagine to try and fend off some of the stampeding and crushing. Also 'big long sale' means 'more attention'

Thats not entirely a bad thing. Think of all those potential customers who cant spend because they havent been paid yet
