AM3 and AM3+ socket

i want to add a h100i but it does not support the AM3+ socket but does AM3
will this make any diffrence

I'm pretty sure AMD have been using the same mounting system for a while now. Should not be a problem.

I literally just took one off of an AM3+ socket. So yeah it works fine
