Anandtech shows us a full lineup of boards from the biggest and best manufacturers. The EPoX boards look pretty good, yet still plagued by the whacky ATX dongle placement. Some day they will fix it, I just know they will

The DFI board has no 4pin power connector...or is it just me?

It uses an 8-pin located right above the ATX connector. In the pic it just looks like a blurry black block.

Hmm, looks like DFI cured chipset fan problem, but right now looks like it's just barely blocking one of the SATA ports.

You can just plug in your 4-pin to the lower half of that connector and it will work just fine. It's recommended to get a compliant PSU however.

Not arguing with that mate, totally don't blame ya. But like I said you can still use that psu with that connector, it just pops in the lower half of the plug.
