Alternative to MSI-Afterburner

Hi guys,

since my GPU is now under water, id like to get the overclocking one step further!

But since the unofficial Overclocking-mode in AB doesnt work with the recent drivers, id like to know if there are alternatives that let me get the core voer 1125mhz

(Yes i did use the AB with the driver-dlls and but the overclocking mode then made the screen flicker with the slightest rise of the core-clock, even from like 925 to 926 so my first guess was the AB not getting it done)

I know about Sapphire trixx and evga precision, but do they let me overclok beyond cccs limits?

What do you use for overclocking?

HIS 7970, right now at maximum of 1125 core and i think 1575 mem.

Sitting at 42° under max. load

I'm sure the programs will get updates soon to account for drivers. Why not just max out CCC temporarily. What screens do you have? and how many?

Yea its maxed out already so nothing more to do unfortunately :)

Got 2 23" FullHDs, but only gaming on one and using the other as space for skype/AB-monitor and my musicplayer.

I hope they get teh AB to run again.

Honestly IMO if you are gaming on 1 monitor then even a stock 7970 is more than enough, so I say just get it up to the max it can be now and then just leave it

I know, i dont have any FPS-issues whatsoever.
I just wanna try how far i can get it under water, considerung on air it sucked balls!

Trixx should do the job.
I wouldn't try ASUS GPU Tweak, I've heard bad things about it, with BSOD's.
I think GIGABYTE also has Overclocking software, not sure though.
