I've posted on here a few times before but I thought I should probably introduce myself now so...
Hi! I'm a student from t'norf, I'm studying Web systems but I'm only really interested in the software engineering side of it, I'm in my third of five years which means that it's hectic no-sleep time!
Anyway, my current specs are as follows:
AMD 8350 @ 4.8GHz
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
Powercolor(Powercolour) 7870 Myst edition
8GB Kingston Genesis grey 1600MHz
OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD (let the bashing begin)
Corsair C70 black case
Custom watercooling loop created with XSPC parts
2x 24" Samsung SyncMaster S24B300
It's a pretty moderate rig which I'll be upgrading in the new year to include a nice shiny 780Ti, I already have a new Corsair H100i , Samsung EVO 250GB and a Corsair RM 750 waiting to go into whatever new parts I buy. Decisions need to be made regarding CPU, mobo and case whilst I'm waiting for prices to go down a bit (suggestions welcome).
But yeah I'm looking forward to interacting with people and showing off my new build when it's finally done!
