Alleged Nvidia RTX 3090 PCB Pictured

Rumour has it that when you purchase a 30xx series card, you get a free RTG with it.
I stress, it's just a rumour.

I wonder whether they always planned this, or whether RDNA2 has forced them to potentially release a card with its clocks cranked as high as they can go.

AMD doesn't have 3090 class card. Nvidia will probably be alone at the top for a bit longer.

This could also be a preproduction PCB that was given to overclockers. Also, the stock edition is rumored to be 350W card. Could be a vendor card. MSI had 3 pins on their cards and they didn't need it at all. Just a marketing gimmick. 8+8 was more than enough for any ambient cooled 2080Ti.

I don't think so.

I heard rumblings when the initial leak happened that they may be doing away with the Titan series (because they are just gaming cards) and bringing out a 3090Ti.

Seems the 3090 bit was at least truthful.

Whether we will see a Titan or whether they are ending that game? I guess remains to be seen.

In fairness, we don't know that for sure.
