Alienware's 55-inch 120Hz OLED Gaming Display will 'definitely' be released?

It... has no VESA mounts though  So say goodbye to desk space or just put it in the living room, where you can't use the 120Hz...

Am I missing something? Other than the fact that it's going to be very overpriced, because Alienware?

Remember that the images are from CES and are from a concept product. A VESA mount could be added later.

I think next gen consoles and some streaming platforms are aiming to have 120Hz support, I guess Alienware also have some "Living room PC" models. But yeah I've no idea why any company wouldn't include VESA mounts if that's true, a lot of people wall mount nowadays.

Can't see why any body would want a screen that big, but maybe that's down to being blind as a bat and not being able to move a screen far enough away

Yeah, it is very big. I use a 43-inch screen for 4K, and it is already stupid big.

I personally would think a 38-40inch 21:10 ratio would be perfect. Ultrawide monitors are narrow, the extra height with 21:10 would be pretty helpful I think.

Got a 49" TV and honestly I find it too small. And I only use it for gaming and VODs so having a receiver is irrelevant.
