Alienware releases 3 new laptops

overpriced tat - total meh products imho.

Only fan boys like them, real enthusiasts hate them with a passion.

+1 on the Hate with passion why pay for a name when you can get better spec by building it yourself for oh what's that half the price hahah
 
Ricerware as it has been said before.XPS kit much more sensible, since you can't often build your own laptop.

i like alienware products but i would much rather build a system for half the price and it be just as good.
 
The Dellienware computers are a total rip off. I expect pre-built systems to be sold at a premium but I really object to optional upgrades being vastly overpriced to exploit people who don't build their own machines. For example on the Area51 system charging people $1,200 for a $150 memory upgrade is despicable.

i bought the m11x some time ago because i needed sth small but powerfull and i didn't wan't an ugly bussiness netbook, i've been really happy with it and price wasn't bad eighter

Regardless of whether or not they are good computers, I would never wan't to deal with Dell. And I am talking to you from experience.
 
+1 to despise.

Alienware is purely only for people who have no idea how a "Good" computer is spose to function or just love to brag. However laptops are a different story i guess as they are much harder if near impossible to build your own. I hate them with a passion, a friend had bought a desktop from them and against my self built one wiped the floor with his and he couldn't understand why his cost $5,000 and mine only costs $2,000 and it was faster. Ahh the memories lol
 
This is the same with every thing in life.

Would you by a consumer TV if you could make your own, would you by a house if you could build your own for less than 1/4 of the price. computer are no different.
 
What eveeryone keeps referring to is DESKTOPS! for building your own desktop alienware can rot in hell for laptops....well they can still rot in hell cause msi and asus make better and cheaper laptops but you can't build your own quite as easily.
