Intel are getting ready to launch 18A CPUs in 2025 with Panther Lake and Clearwater Forest.

All things considered Intel was never that far behind on transistor density despite TSMC calling their nodes differently. Iirc TSMC 7nm+ was comparable to Intel 10nm.

Still it's good seeing Intel finally step it up a notch
