Sup guys.

Anyone got any experience using these? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-009-AE&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=

Ive got an EVGA superclock (swiftech polaris) CPU cooler, and while im not overly bothered about noise, the stock fan puts out around 42db apparently, which seems a bit excessive. Ive not got it installed yet, but according to the reviews, performance of the cooler pretty much lives or dies by the massive airflow (86cmf) of its stock fan.

So i was hoping someone could give me an opinion on the aerocool fans, as they seem like they could be a good replacement if i find that the stock fan is just ridiculously loud.

Cheers.

The specs are ok, they are near enough half the DB of the stock fans on your CPU cooler.

i have these fans in my rig - 3 120's exhausting on my 360 rad, 1 120 on the front intake, 2 120's on the side pulling air in across the hdd racks & a 140 exhausting out the back.
imo i like them they are a bit noisy ( i'm not bothered about noise i'm a bit deaf) they shift alot of air and look quite decent say in the case. with red or blue leds.

the black blade type look very stealthy.

they do a decent jon for me and didn't cost the earth.

Thanks guys. I knew they werent gonna be quiet, but all the more reason to replace the 42db one ive already got if 26db is as loud as you say.

Although they say they're rated at 26db, that doesn't always mean that's actually what they run at.
If Ruthless says that they're very loud, then they may very well be no better than the fans you already own.

Ahh ok. Well i try it with what ive got when i can. If its stupidly loud, then ill give these ones a try - theyre not expensive so its no big deal if theyre not much better.
