Not a bad design really, my only gripe from just looking at it are the drive bay covers.

Yeah, that is why I put the article up. Not a bad case from Aerocool, especially for the money.

The drive bays are not very nice though, as you have said.

I had an aerocool case onece cause I thought it looked nice in the pictures... When it arrived most of the pieces I thought would be metal were just painted plastic, parts didn't fit together properly and the whole thing was incredibly tacky. Will take a pass on this one.

Yeah, can tell where they got it from immediately.

At least they didn't clone it. The interior looks to be inspired by Phanteks but hey there's only so much you can do to change things. People want SSD mounting options and PSU covers. It looks a good combination. I've no idea on the quality verus price on these as I've never seen an Aerocool in the flesh. I'd agree on the front bay design being a bit of an acquired taste. I don't mind it tho - reminds me of the hot swap drive caddy setups.

Is the optical drive bracket on the 800 easily removed? It looks pretty minimalistic which is good but if it's just a matter of a couple of screws to remove that would be good. I know you could always dremel or drill but you'd like to be able to put this stuff back in if you repurpose the case at a latter date or sell it.

Only thing I'd like to see would be a bigger radiator option in the roof for a 280 or 360.
