advice on overclocking.

I want to get the most out of my rig instead of leaving it on stock speed.

My specs:
i5 4670k
Msi GD-65 Gaming
Ax760
Msi 280x

I tried the OC genie button and it boost to 4ghz. I want to learn how to do it manually. First though was to post here, someone has to have the same spec and overclocked theirs and its best to learn from people who has experience instead of watching videos and reading tutorials. So any help on where to begin will be appreciated. thanks

To be honest I'd say the opposite is true; it's best to learn following along with a tutorial, and learning by doing it on your hardware. The people who make the guides do have experience, and it applies to quite a lot of different hardware, especially now we have the K series of CPUs, they all overclock the same. You'll learn much better this way than somebody with the same kit telling you what overclocks they achieved, because that way you don't really learn it yourself, and your rig may not get the same overclock anyway because of the silicon lottery.

Have you watched TTL's guide?

what im saying is learn from what they have and not to copy it. I want to know the basics like voltages. And no I havent watch it can you provide the link? thank you

Yeah no problem mate, it'll give you a really thorough idea of where to start and what to do :)

It's an 1155 guide, but everything in it should still be relevant for 1150.
