Adobe Reader 9.1 Installation Error

Greetings!

I'm having a problem with my other half's laptop. When I try to install Adobe Reader 9.1, it stalls at 5.92% when 'Processing Adobe Reader 9.1'. This error is consistent and it just doesn't get past it ever.

She's running Windows XP Professional SP3.

Can anyone provide an insight into this issue?

Had lots of issues recently with adobe, theres a fix from Microsoft that works its something to do with Office. Search Adobes forums and the links on there. Basically its got its knickers in a twist, cant remember the name of the file causing the problem, just wiped off my wipeboard yesterday grrrrr.

Run the uninstaller / wiper then try again.

Adobe usually reccommend removing from control panel>add remove. then trying again.

I find this still causes errors so try that fix from MS.. sorry cant remember the link.
