The GameXStream 600 is a rebadged Fortron FX600-GLN, so responses from anyone who's worked with either supply are welcome..
The rails are within spec, but still off more than I'd like:
3.3V: 3.18
5V: 4.95
12V: 12.35
I have verified these voltages.
Since the unit is out of warranty I'm going to crack it open and adjust its potentiometer (it has just one)..
So two questions, if anyone knows:
1. Does this single pot adjust all three major rails (I'm thinking it's just for +12V)?
2. If I lower the +12V voltage, will that bump up voltage on the 3.3 and 5V rails? That's what I'm aiming for.
If I can't get an answer (OCZ tech support was useless) I'll just go ahead and see what happens. But I'm hoping for a few informed opinions first..
Thanks,
Jeff
