Adding pictures

Its so annoying when members post links and thumb pictures of their riggs in the worklogg and rig gallery. They should really resize them, post them so people dont have to click every one of them. Get them to resize them like this

Just copy the direct link and paste it. Imo if the people cant figure out this or if they cant get help from mods to do this the threads should be deleted. If you need to ask about this ask in the forums please, and im sure one of our dear memebers will tell you what to do.

Yeah i get where your coming from, sometimes when you come across a build log or project log, it takes so long for the page to load, images are too huge. I did use imageshack before but now use Sqish http://sqi.sh/images works brilliantly and easy to use, very simple. I have it bookmarked and its just a one click away when i need to use it

Yeah its just to mutch hazzle so i often skip to look at peoples work. If they did things the easy and good way then we could enlargen the pictures we think look intereteing

Yeah, I very much agree. I don't like to click on a load of links or small images that enlarge.

A little more lear giudes on how to do this it might be sorted eaesly. Lets hear what the awesome mods have to say about this

I'm in total agreement with you though and if we notice large image sizes we usually tell people to resize the images. Sometimes we miss it though because of the automatic resizing the forum does and fast Internet connections taking no time at all to load the large images.

I'll try to keep a better eye on this.

Hmmblah you and many mods here are always nice and undertanding. If you got it on the rig gallery then i might suggest that it is a standard in the project part aswell. in the part of the suuugest my hardware there could be a list options aswell. Cheers m8

I just adjusted the size in photoshop before uploading.

I figured if anyone wanted to see bigger ones then I'd put a link for the full size.

I made everything smaller than 800px wide like the stickied thread suggested.

The trouble for me is whenever I put a picture into my post it comes up as a small icon which can then be clicked on to see a larger version.

Example:

[sharedmedia=core:attachments:4451]

How do I make it like others have managed it with a larger picture and then when that is clicked on a full size version can be viewed?

Hey Alex, I normally upload my images to Photobucket, which should allow you to post larger images.
