This is my current (12/07/08) rig specs:-

Intel E8200 @ Stock with Arctic Freezer Pro 7

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3

Inno3D 'Wind Chill' edition 8800GT 512mb @ Stock

4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 PC2-6400 @ 800mhz

Seagate 500gb 32mb cache

Coolermaster RealPower 520w modular PSU

Coolermaster 690 with 3 Hiper 120mm fans and 3 stock Coolermaster fans.

Running Windows XP SP2.

Case modifications:-

Sprayed interior glossy black.

Future modifications:-

Window mod, getting the materials as we speak!

Planned future upgrades (when I get money!):-

New motherboard (Asus P5E X38)

New Monitor (LG 22")

4870

New case, considering Lian Li A70B to fit watercooling in.

You should modify your case to have wheels and then put under-case neons. Should look good.

CM690's are already raised because the PSU is on the bottom, good idea like..I might consider it.

If u do go ahead with it - do not put the cathode directly underneath the case. Cut out a long-small window - size of the cathode and then put the cathode on it.

It sounds like a good idea but I ain't one for big bright lights everywhere!

how did you spray paint? did you do it your self or use airbrush/or spray can...?

We were originally just going to use a glossy spray paint until my dad realised he could get the paint for free at work and then sprayed the whole chassis black. I'm not entirely sure on the paint he used but it came out well, we didn't prep it just gave it a shot on paint.
