Acer's 43-inch Predator CG7 Large Format Gaming Display is now available in the US

Not that bad of a price for what you get. Yeah you can get similar TVs for bigger sizes and as good picture quality, but monitors are tuned for PC so I would guess input lag and response times would be lower. Plus you don't need a 65inch TV 3 feet from your face :D

Still out of my price range though :p

This is an interesting bracket. I was going to praise Samsung's Q60 TV as a replacement but apparently their 43 and 49 inch models are 60Hz native without VRR. But still, expected to have pretty fierce competition from smaller TVs.

Don't knock that until you've tried it :D

I use a 43-inch TV screen to game at 4K. Pretty good if I'm honest. It's not a premium panel, turn HDR to off. Would love an OLED, but that isn't gonna happen. Need ££££ for that.

That said, I wouldn't upgrade to an OLED until HDMI 2.1 is common. Need that 120Hz and VRR.

I'm more interested in DP 2.0 tbh. Basically double the bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 and a lightning cable form factor. So USB-C. Totally down for that!

i must say it dose look interesting , but for us with limited space a 32inch 144hz gsync ips panel would be more appealing

Waiting to see if this has the same issues as the Asus variant... I bought the XG438Q, but haven't opened it yet due to all the mixed reviews about the text issues. Hoping this one won't have the same issue, as I know they both use the same AUO VA panel.

*crosses fingers*

Review here shows a very slow overdrive time too. one of the slowest. Review doesnt paint a nice picture for that monitor tbh. It's the BGR sub pixel causing the text issues. Dunno why they used this instead of RGB sub pixel.
