A4 Games reveals Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition - Ray Tracing is Mandatory

DLSS 2.0 is great news.

The current implementation is rubbish for image quality and anything above 1440p with RT on and no DLSS on my 2080, kills frame-rates down into the low 20's

That's great, While I do like RT effects, DLSS2 is what I'm most excited for.... oh and maybe getting an RT equipped AMD or Nvidia GPU but I'll likely be waiting until next year for that.

My 6800XT gets around 35-40fps maxxed with RT at 1440p so with these new effects and optimisations if it's the same performance i'd still be happy tbh.

Thou i have to admit my Ryzen 1700 as much as i like it AM5 will be a thing for me :D

I'm interested in seeing how well ray tracing will work on AMD after the 4A engine has been optimised for the consoles. 4K 60 FPS with ray-traced lighting is no small feat.
