My dog is really sick. I dont know what she came down with (cold or something) but shes really congested and shes not eating. So we have to pretty much force pepto bismol and a half asprin down her throat to try and make her better. Shes real weak though cause shes not eating so every time i pass her her heads drooped down and she looks like shes always trying to fall asleep. The vet said that if she continues to not eat were going to need to force feed her too.

Shes a full blood English Bulldog. The vet said Ensure would be a good thing if we can get it down her.

Weve had her for about a year now and i think she was 3 when we got her. Maybe 4 or 5? Were not sure.

Has she got diorrhoea? It could also be a really bag bug but then i guess the vet took a blood test and the results would indicate that.

Did the vet X ray as well as something blocking the stomach will also stop dogs from eating (pebbles, small balls etc)

Either way hope the dog gets better soon, mine had gstro eneritis a few month back and it is not nice for them.

The vet has to be able to do something more then what they did for you. Hope that your pup gets better soon.

We cant afford to take her to a vet, but a vet IS a friend of ours. She is telling us over the phone what to do. She had the squirts but we got rid of that already. She seems to be congested and were doing what we can to get rid of that but shes extremely weak and getting very small. I almost cry everytime i look at her and pet her.

We believe she has Canine Distemper now becasue the symptoms point to it. My mom has witnessed ciesures, we believe she is half blind or more, the other day she did something while she was lieing on her side that resembled a

roach on its back (the wiggly thing), sudden lack of eating, dis-oriented, ect. We dont know if its that for sure, (i really hope not), but we are trying everything in our power to get something down her. Thanx for the hope everybody.

Its a sad morning indeed. She passed away over the night guys. Many tears will be shed upon the day.
