A new "Zen" moment? RDNA 5 should be a "clean sheet" GPU design from AMD

If RDNA4's top end card is comparable to a 7900XT, As he states in this article and other leakers have stated, But at a much cheaper price and lower power consumption, That will be a nice stop gap until RDNA5.

Quite happy to hear this. I was really expecting more from RDNA3 and I had hoped to jump aboard. If RDNA4 brings 7800XT performance to the 7600XT price range with more VRAM and better power consumption and RT, that's me sorted.

It'll bring 7900xtx performance to the 8800xt price range I'd not get your hopes up on 7800xt performance at 8600xt price I expect at the lower end it might not be as favourable depending on the stack as they may only make 2 cards is my feelings as if they have 7600xt stock left they may not bother making a 8600xt card is my thoughts like others have said a stop gap as I don't expect the same amount of cards as current gen myself.

As far as I know, the rumours suggested two GPUs, one for low-end—Navi 44—and one for midrange—Navi 48. Logically that would cover the 8600XT up to the 8800XT through segmentation and using cutdown chips.
