also keep in mind that most boards would probably go nuclear before you reach 5ghz on this just from the amount of heat it has to dissipate, on final boards i would be shocked if people are able to push it over 4.5ghz on watercooling
 
Anyone who is planning on running Intel's 28 core CPU at 5GHz on all cores should stop and consider that the motherboard has 4 EPS12V 8 pin connectors, each of which is capable of providing 300W @ 12V. That is 1,200 Watts available for the CPU on top of whatever power the main 24 pin ATX connector provides.
