9yr old + Guitar Hero = pwnage

I have tried guitar, didn't have enough time

But what I was saying that he has good handeye co-ordination and a decent idea of a beat so he should try

If he can put the time in and has enough drive he could do ok

Most kids get a guitar/musical instrument and are into it for a few weeks, then after that give up as it's repetitive and boring tho

I say the only thing Guitar Hero does for you is teaches you the timing of the specific songs in the game. Nothing else. When you "feel" a guitar you dont have to look at the fret board. So, hand eye cordination has nothing to do with it really.
