9800 GX2 - more pics from CeBit

two 8800GT's crammed together anyone?

looks like they just cut the pci-e bit off one, and crammed them both in a plastic thing..

Saw a the MSI (sure it was MSI, mighta been evga) watercool offering yesterday, cos the gpus face each other, they use what looks like a single block with 2 plates either side of it. Looked to fit nice and snug between the 2 pcbs.

Cooling 2 gpus off 1 block ? how effective will that be.

sounds good, could work

altho if the watercooling fails, it will only take half the time to completly melt down :p

ne1 recommend this? or wait for the 9800GTX?

This is the flagship model, it will be faster than the 9800gtx. Yes, it is 8800gt in sli...

Probably worth waiting for ati's offering/skip this gen.

If i sell this computer that im building next week and have the money i may consider buying one of these for my next project.

God knows though. Is it really worth it? Iv got me a 8800gtx coming next week and i think that will do me fine. Im not bothered on whether im lacking a few FPS. :D

Definitely something to think about in the future though. :p
