9500GT better than 8600GTS?

it says the 9500GT is 3x faster than a 8500GT, but what about with a 8600GTS?

i just bought a XFX 9500GT Limited Japan Edition to fit in my shuttle HTPC, but i am wondering if i should use it in my desktop gaming rig which has a 8600GTS at the moment...

what do you think?

Just looking at hwbot submissions. The 9500GT shows 3dmark06 scores from 4700 to 6700 (70 something results) , whilst the 8600GTS has 8200 to 12500 (90 something results).

thanks mate, well i guess i keep my 8600GTS in my desktop, the 9500GT will do for the HTPC
