900€ gamer build

First of all, it's not for me, it's for a friend but i will build it and (probably) overclock it. Initially it was an 800€ build, but i talked him into paying the extra 100€. Nothing has yet been fully decided, else i probably wouldn't be in this section ;)

The current plan is:
Intel i5-2500k
Asus p8z77-LK
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz (blue)
MSI GTX660Ti Power Edition
Corsair HX650
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo (he wants a Corsair H60(i) badly, so maybe i'll do that with a Corsair SP120)
Zalman Z9+
WD Caviar Green 1TB (i'd like to put an SSD in there, but it just isn't in the budget)

As you can see i'm going for a blue colour scheme, so no noctua nf-p12's for the H60(i), if there is going to be one.

Wondering why he's going with a 2500k as opposed to a 3570k? I know there's not a massive difference between the two, but the Z77 chipset does have more features (obviously depending on the motherboard).

he has got next to no clue about hardware, so i'm teaching him the basics. and what is better for learning the basics than building a pc. i took the 2500k because it's a few € less since i'm already a good amount over the budget and because it runs a little bit cooler.

A little update, since he got a little bit more money and i read some more reviews etc.

i5 3570k
Asus p8-z77-V-LK
Corsair Force 3 60GB
Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 2TB
MSI HD7870 Hawk
Corsair HX650W
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz
Sharkoon T9 Value Blue (it fits really good in the colour scheme)
Corsair H60 (Corsair SP120 QE)

For Z77 I and most others would recommend an MSI board, the MSI Z77A G45 is always a great choice, everything else looks decent, for a cheap case maybe have a look at the Zalman Z9 and Z11 series. Also, I would recommend a WD drive, for storage the WD caviar green is always a great choice :)

Everything else looks good

i own the zalman z9+ and i initially intended to use that, it's truly a great value case, but the T9 has better cable management options, looks better and i want to make it look neat :) i will consider the MSI board though, would be a nice corsair / MSI combination. it's even cheaper than the Asus board.
