8.2v on +12v???????

Is this mormal? 8.2v on +12v. pc shuts down when gaming and doesn't when just doing normal activites.

Yes and no. Let me elaborate.

+12v shouldn't drop below 11.4v from what I remember. However, Sensors are notorious for giving false readings.

You will need to test the PSU and see what a voltmeter shows as that will be the only true indication.

If the +12v is really that low, you need a new PSU.
 
More problems w/ my system are... i can only have my ssd and one other drive plugged in at a time. Otherwise it sends me to a insert boot drive loadinng screen.

The shut down problem only happened when i went from one gpu to 2x gtx680's in sli.
 
my guess is you need a better psu
If your pc does not like more than the ssd and has problems shutting down with 2 x gpu and shows 12v low then it is not able to cope with your setup

that said your components should only be pulling about 570 watts so the 1050 should be more than capable I still feel its the psu do you have access to another for testing?

TBH we need a lot more information than you are giving.

Full rig specs, bios shots, rig shots, volts etc etc etc.

This may be a time consuming task but it will help us help you faster and with more accurate advise.
