Have you tried updating the card's BIOS? That can make a difference.

right ive disabled all HW acceleration on any type of media and it seems fine now, seriously! what the heck is going on it was all working fine now its being a pain in my ass!!

I agree, I had a 7850 do the same sort of stuff, I did everything I could think of and a couple of things that I found on the interweb, and nothing fixed it apart from getting a new one. However, my card also blackscreened in games and benches after a random amount of time, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours.

You might have bought during a bad batch of gpus. No one knows but the card itself.

I know for a fact that the card itself was bad, some capacitors that were delivering power to the GPU were faulty, sometimes being able to maintain a clean flow of current, sometimes failing to do so, at which point the card failed. Might not be the same case here, but the symptoms point toward a HW failure, especially considering that the clips work alright when HW acceleration is disabled.

no in my gut no! honestly

ive always had problems with the cards, whether its been xfire issues or drivers or other general crap, they've already been replaced once, i just think i picked up a shit set of cards
