I hope you have dust filters because those side fans are going to make cleaning a nightmare when it needs to be done weekly...

i have a Silverstone SST-FF142B Magnetic Fan Filter on the side, and the top fans and rear are exhausts. Thanks anyway as im sure someone will point out ive missed something are could improve something!

next stop is a better case, the 300r is a good case but want something with gromets inside to hide cables and with a bit more space inside for easier cable management!

any fans in the front? I would run the rear fan as an intake cool air in and right out the roof ^_^

it's rather a nice looking rig for a small ish case.

i may try the rear fan as intake, temps dont exceed 65 on cpu, which seems acceptable to me. But its worth a try to see if its better.

Yes 2 AF140s in the front too

I think the case lets it down purely as i got the windowless version as the windowed one wasnt out yet. I am looking at the 760t as that looks like a nice case and a good review from Tom.

Some people have had good results with SLI/Xfire by having side fans blowing outwards.

I tried them blowing out and my temps shot up to the high 80s? Maybe I'll give it another go as the were on 12v last time possibly starving them of air?

Righty guys, up early while wife's asleep. Will try the CPU pushing in.

And will give the side fans another go blowing out. Will report back!

/\ thats brilliant! any time to do the others haha

My paint skills are simplistic at best.

So tried side fans exhausting, temps rose +10/11, cpu blowing in temps stayed the same, so will keep cpu pushing in as have the two top mounted exhausts

yup on paint, zoommed right in and used straight line tool around edge in white, then used the freehand select tool to remove background, took forever!

Thank you that next pic is great, i'll updated opening post when third is done!

thank you sir!

That is because you have next to no air in the system since most of it gets exhausted right away. It would work if everything was on intake and side fans were exhaust. Though tbh its not worth the hassle of trying. Just keep them intake.

Thanks for your advice, I have all fans at 5v and gpu fans only go to 40%. System is virtually silent anyway and temps of 70-75 for gpu and 58-62 for CPU seem more than adequate for me!

However I do feel a 760t should be on my agenda. I love the 900d but my machine is not watercooled and my rig would be lost in all that space!
