7970 BIOS issue

Hi All,
I recently bought a powercolor 7970 (non reference) and seeing that it's not running at GHZ edition speeds, I decided to flash the BIOS

I followed the following guide: *removed*

I downloaded the file in the link and ran the modified winflash executable. To my suprise, everything was flashed automatically without having the option to backup my bios first

As you can think, the bios didn't work on my card as I don't have a reference card. Problem is, I don't have a backup!
I decided to flip to my secondary bios, save that bios and install it to my primary.

The card is now working, but artifacts horribly.

The question is: Will I be able to RMA this card, seeing that it has the same bios on both my primary and secondary bios switch?

Thanks in advance

I've already tried the techpowerup bios's, but for some reason my 2nd monitor won't turn on with that bios revision

It artifacts on both master and slave.

Will Powercolor even notice that I'm running the same bios for master as well as slave?

Thanks for the assistance so far

Moral dilemma.

You've knowingly broken the card by tampering with it, do you RMA it?

I would yes. Not that I'm dishonest because I'm not (I'm anti piracy and buy anything I play and don't overclock) but if the second bios is producing artifacts then the card is obviously faulty.

I suppose the rest will come down to luck. You should be OK as Powercolor do not RMA directly so the store you bought it from will refund or replace and then RMA it back themselves.
