7950 Black screen no signal

I'm running the Adrenaline/Crysis 2 benchmark and it is 100% stable with 1000/1575 and stock voltage in MSI AB 1093mv.
The game crash with 1020/1250 so I need to increase voltage.

BUT, If I try 1020/1250 and 1168mv in MSI AB the game gets HARD crash no signal to display and I need to power off / power on PC.
Then the motherboard bios says overclocking failed and some settings reset

It is a Asus 7950 DCII, so stock speed is 810/1250

What happens if you increase the voltage by a smaller step, say to 1100 or something? Or have you worked up to 1168 with instability at lower voltages?

sounds like ur cpu oc failed while oc'n the gpu most likely due to the increase in gpu volts your using to oc the gpus's running 3 cards on a 1k psu should be fine but it may be at its limits when overclocking.

just googled your psu and it has 2 6pin and 2 6+2pins so I'm assuming your using molex to 6pins for the extra card. your psu onlu having 4 pci-e connectors should tell ya its only rated for xfire/sli not tri xfire tri sli. It may not have enough amps to get it all done and oc everything. Its listed as 83amps on a single 12v rail. My AX850 has 70amps so even though your psu is a gold rated psu its basically not up for tri or quad gpu's

basically saying its taking the extra volts your trying to push at the gpu's from the cpu causing the cpu to fail its oc.
