7800gt dual screens

hi.

can someone please tell me why i cant view the avi file im watching now in widescreen on my secondary monitor ?

tried wmp winamp vlc and divxplayer and powerdvd.

all 5 shows the avi file in proper aspect ratio(16:9) on the primary monitor but in fullscreen(4:3) on my secondary monitor.

checked with several other avi files but they play with the right aspect ratio on both monitors.

Sounds like a problem with that AVI file or something if other AVI files are running the way you want it to... Very strange problem you have there. Maybe someone with more expertise in the dual monitor catagory can lend a hand.

what setup are you using in your NV drivers? this is a common problem afaik. i and ham have both had trouble playing cirtain formats on the slave screen

have the primary monitor cloned onto the secondary monitor.

in fullscreenvideo i have "fullscreenunit" set to secondary monitor.

can say one thing for sure, this 7800gt card sucks when it comes to dualmonitors compared to how good my old 9800pro worked.
