780 SLI worth upgrading to?

7970 Xfire should be pretty much eating everything up at 1080p x 3? If you really need more performance then i would just wait more towards Xmas before making any purchasing choice. More cards will released and possibly even further price drops. Really a win win situation.

spot on mate, you can get a MSI GeForce GTX 780 Twin Frozr OC for £411 from aria atm but as he said the price should drop again a xmass

2 X HD 7970 will be ok for a few months but then again this will affect the resale price when you sell off your old card :S

it's up to you mate it's your money...

Let them battle the price wars then after it simmers down make a choice. Otherwise you'll just get angry that you wasted money.
