7770 - 2 VGA Display setup Issue

Hi everyone, i am trying to use 2 monitors using a 7770 (2 mini display ports, 1 hdmi and 1 dvi) i am using a vga to dvi adapter for 1 monitor which is working fine but i am unable to find a way to have the 2nd monitor work.

I bought a vga (male) to hdmi cable which i plugged directly from the monitor to the video card with no results.. fortunately i had a few adapters (vga to dvi & dvi to hdmi) and i did not work as well.

At this point i am thinking of buying new hdmi monitors, which id like to avoid for now if possible.

I would very much inappropriate any help/advice, Thank You.

I'm thinking the problem is probably with analog signals. If you're converting digital outputs (DVI and HDMI) to analog - you need to be sure the vga cable can support the digital signal, and the posts on the monitors can read the signal they are getting. Some VGA monitors are unable convert the signal. What monitors are they?

Yeh - it'll be a similar kind of problem as I said.

It's always a nightmare getting 1080p to work through VGA. Even if trying to get 1 single monitor to work. 2 makes it even harder. The ports on the graphics card dont like outputting 1080p to VGA even though the monitors support it. It takes a lot of playing around and fiddling to get it to work, and you normally need a high quality adapter for it.

I dont really know what to suggest. I had a similar problem a few years ago and it just took fiddling around with adapters and drivers to find a fix. Sorry I cant really be of more help
