7/16 hose with 1/2 fittings, ok with UK heat ?

I've gone ahead and bought 7/16 hose and 1/2 barbs, so I don't need to use clamps or the like. But I'm a little concerned first thing this morning I fitted a piece of hose to a barb just to get an idea of how tight it will be when it comes to installing the loop, it was nice and snug, up until I went back an hour or so ago and down to the heat, I think, the hose was very loose and pulled off with no force, whereas earlier it was a struggle to remove. Will this still be ok ? There was a small amount of resistance when I pulled but not a lot. Cheers guys.

remember when it's in your case with air flow and water running through it will keep cool, also it would depend where you left the piece you tried, if it was on the side with the sun on it then it will warm up.

If your worried you could put a piece of tube on a barb inside your case with the fans running and see how it goes.

...but also the warmer coolant will be there to heat it up too...?

Can I ask what tubing you're using?
It should be fine really. My 1/2 barbs and 7/16 tubing was always incredibly tight. Some of the softer tubing, and maybe tubing with thinner walls will mould around the fittings easier and so this may happen.
It should be fine really. If you think it's a problem, maybe look at other tubing.

I was using Masterkleer on mine, and that held tightly all the time.
