6970 VS GTX 570 superclocked

Gtx 570 all the way. If your planning on running super high res, or multimonitor gaming, the 6970 would be the better choice. The 2gb frame buffer will shine through in eyefinity. As far as casual gaming, at a normal resolution, the 570 will usually be the better card, let alone the superclocked version. Of course it depends on the detail levels and what games your playing

What do you mean normal resolution? im trying to play at hd resoultion (sorry forgot the numbers....) have a 27inch samsung

Im also trying to play the games at the best possible settings and im also planning on buying a second card in the near future for crossfire/sli.

im trying to play bfbc2 vietnam metro 2033 and gta IV (lol i know but i wanna see it at max settings)

I think a normal average gaming resolution would be 1900x1080 or 1900x1200 (these are high def btw). A higher end resolution would be like 2560x1600 which really can stress a card. But those monitors are in the thousand dollar range, I don't think its realistic for most gamers to afford, out of my reach anyways

.Either card will be able to max out those settings on 1900x resolutions and give you good framerates. Not so sure about metro 2033 but you'll deffinatley be able to play it just fine. Just probably cant have all the bells and whistles turned on. Either card in Sli or crossfire will give you great performance and will play anything you toss at it, with all the bells and whistled turned up for years to come i would imagine
