Hi peeps, have just built my pc and am using the Twin Frozer 6950, however i am seeing some high temps 90.c

Is this normal temp for this card? Have had a few games crash, recently Sniper Elite V2 demo.

Have the fans set to 30% for ultimate silence

Leave the fan on auto and watch the temps. I'd be surprised if you can keep it at 30% while gaming, that's a little much to ask.

I have the tf3 msi 6950 - at idle my runs at 33% but when gaming it goes a lot higher. Download a copy of MSI Afterburner and then you can set up a custom fan profile - that way you get the best of both worlds.

I am using MSI Afterburner, have it set to 45%.

However i got a BSOD during the demo. I always thought these cards were meant to be quiet lol

p.s mine is the tf3 version too

My TF3 560Ti is loud too when it's in use. I'm not really that happy with it TBH. I had to stop folding on it now because it hits 90C and screams. It wasn't as loud as my 470s on full speed, but it gets hotter and they only had reference coolers.

What case are you running it in? In the fan profile I've set up if the temp goes 70-80 the fan speed ramps up from 40-80%. I don't think that a constant 45% is enough in some cases.

Yep your airflow looks fine. Think it might be worth trying out a variable fan profile though.

I run 2 of these in crossfirex and yes they do get very hot. My top card can get up to 95.c with fans at 100%. If i don't feel like hearing all the noise i just lower my clocks for a bit.
