6850 CrossFire Help.

Hello there.

As you can tell im new here

I have 2 XFX 6850 Cards. Here they are:

They are both running on an Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 which has the 880g chipset which means both the cards are running at 8x dispite the ports being wired for 16x.

Here is my issue i can't really tell if they are working and if they are they seem to pick and choose when they want to.

Here is a Screenshot of MSI Afterburner during the cards running Unigine:

You can see the second card is doing nothing, Can anyone tell me what im missing here or is it supposed to be like this?

are you just sitting at the desktop when you took this? as it wouldnt need to use the second gpu. have you enabled afterburner monitoring so it shows gpu usage in game? i run bf3 at 35-45 fps on high so if your beating that then crossfire is working, bear in mind mine if quite overclocked

EDIT: ok scrap what i said just read your post again. have you definately enabled crossfire in ccc and got the latest drivers?

if there is no crossfire option in ccc then its not working, if there is but its not checked its not working if there is and it is checked it si working

Also very often have to play/test in full screen mode or else the 2nd gpu will not be activated
