Ok got my rig finished ish just waiting to get my GPU so I'm using the igpu and I'm doing some overclocking and benching and I'm getting random screen flicker where it goes black and comes back on but the system seems stable. Any ideas what this could be?

I'm running:
I7 6700k @ 4.6 1.35v
Corsair lpx 3000 @ 3200 15 17 17
Asus maximus hero 8
A pair of samsung evo 250's
Custom loop with ek block

The iGPU in Skylake can act strangely when overclocking, especially if you are using old BIOS versions.

Update your BIOS, it might help. Also, are you using BCLK overclocking or purely multiplier? Sometimes the GPU can act wierd if you don't manually adjust its multiplier.

I've done a bit more Reading and worked out it needs more voltage. I went into overclocking this cpu as if it was like my old 4790k but it seems skylake uses more voltage and you can safely put more through it so I'm on 1.4v @ 4.6ghz stable running OCCT at the moment and I will see if I can bring it down a notch but my temps at full load 2hrs are hovering in the early 60's and no more flickering

I was looking at that potentially being my 24/7 clock speed and voltage. My temps are fine I'm at around 27 idle and 64 load.

From what I have read skylake requires higher voltage than hasswell or devil's canyon and it's safe to go up to 1.44v
