hi guys i'm think of sli'ing my asus 670 dcii, i have been offered a asus 670 top. will my standard 670 sli with the top. would there be any issues with the seperate clock speeds??

as you can tell i'm not knowledgeable on sli configs

SLI and Crossfire, run at the slowest speed in the chain, otherwise it causes too many frame rendering issues, you wont have any issues
software is intelligent enough to downclock the speeds

thanks, i may have to for £250 its a no brainer eventhough i have hardly no money in my account till payday lol. So if my standard 670 peaked at 1097mhz with the stock boost i assume the top would sit at the same speed happy. i'm not running dual screens atm as one of my screens died but hey i love my games to run crazy fast

yeah they will both boost the same, although you may benefit more from manually overclocking the cards so they run at a higher static speed

Just install EVGA Precision and sync the cards and it will run them both at the same speed as the first card in the arrangement.
