which way? 6 pin pcie cable from the PSU to a 4 pin molex out or 4 pin molex from the psu to 6 pin pcie out?
If it is the latter, take the yellow wire and the two black wires and put them into the PCIe connector according to this diagram:
(you'll have to bridge the one yellow cable to go into all three pins and you'll have to bridge one of the black cables, to also cover all pins. In case you don't know: Yellow Cable = 12V, Black Cable = GND (0V))
Edit: Or maybe you don't have to bridge, I would very strongly recommend it tho, because a friend of mine had a 2x 4 pin molex to 8 pin pcie adapter which came with his 2 gigabyte windforce r9 290s which didn't bridge two pins and just when he started the PC for the first time: poof + smoke -> capacitor had exploded. Might be unrelated, but I don't know if the power-in's are seperated on the GPU PCB or if they're lead together. No clue.
If you want it the other way around: That either doesn't work, because the 4 pin molex connector has a pin for 5V, or, if you only need the 12V side of things it might work, but I'm not an electrical engineer, and I'm not building my own cables. Do any of this at your own risk.
