5970 or GTX 570

Have the opportunity to buy a 5970 cheap and have a buyer for my GTX 570.

What should i do i see mixed reviews but it seems overall the 5970 outperforms the 570.

What say you...

Also does NVIDIA make games look better with the higher AA? In short..AMD 8XAA VS NVIDIA 16XAA.

best bet stick with the 570 save ur money and see whats upon the horizon. if you do decide to got 5970 remember they do have buggy drivers you may have to sort out before you get what you want

imho Nvidia with its physx (for those apps that support it) blows any AMD card away

Won't you have to worry about Xfire scaling with the 5970? I would personally take single card performance over dual cards anyday.

If you already have a 570 i'd stick with the 570 and use the money you have for the 5970 and from selling your 570 to get a new gen card.

5970 > 570 performance wise though.

whoppity I also have the chance to buy a 6870x2 and I need the funds from the 570 to pay for it if i do.

6870x2 vs 5970 vs GTX 570.

570 for folding all the way. 5970 for anything else - just make sure your PSU is up to it

AMD also goes up to x16 AA and can go to i think 32x AA you just need to configure it in the CCC not the game.
