570GTX SLI

Looking very nice mate, I ran two 570's on a TX 650v2 without a problem. Those temps are pretty good too.

Hi,

Very nice mate, plus it's always good to scratch that itch every so often

Your spec is very similar to mine now, or will be once you OC

It is quite quite amazing how well everything plays with SLI...I run my cards at stock as no more is needed, though I was at 850 GPU core for a while - a little warmer and a fair bit noisier but ok. It was only really "better" when it came to benchmarks though, games were just as smooth as at stock.

Cheers,

Scoob.

Yeah not touched anything yet oc wise , when the noctua arrives i will be upping the cpu unsure yet on the cards as im not sure they need it , my temps look v good played cyris 2 a lot today and so far not hit 70 yet so all in all im a happy chappy.

couple of small things i want to get like some pre braided fan extensions and im set i think.

If you're happy with the GPU performance mate, leave them at stock.

70c is about what I get on my hottest card, ramping the clocks means more fan speed and more noise & considering I don't need the extra FPS a clock bump brings...well, it's pointless at this stage.

Bumping the CPU, even though it's great at stock, would be (and indeed was) my first OC mission

Still waiting on the cooler arriving, fingers crossed for today so i can oc for tonight and the bf3 release.

Ive messed around with some benchmarks and maybe its me being daft but couldnt see any heaven benches posted.

This is what i get at stock with everything , nothing altered at all.

Hi,

Heaven 2.5 is a good GPU stress test as it really doesn't appear to need much in the way of CPU resource.

I cannot check at the moment but I think your scores are certainly comparible to mine - I will do a quick run later. My cards are at the stock speed of 732 mhz core, but my CPU is at 4.6, so we should be able to see what difference the CPU OC makes...it's not much at all from memory.

Cheers,

Scoob.
