hi im on the look out for a new gfx card and im torn between the 560ti 448 and the hd 7850 2gig ,i mainly play bf3 and some wow,which would you guys go for between the two

cheers

I would go with the 7850 , since they have 2gb of vram and it is cheaper then the 560 ti 448 .

The 7870 could be a nice option too but costs a bit more then a 560 ti 448.

That just my opinion , so you should wait a bit and get some advise from the more experimented members !

Cheers bro !

I personally would say get a GTX 570 over the 560ti 448 Core, you can get a 570 in some cases below £200...

You need to remember the 448 core version of the 560Ti is just a baby step towards a GTX 570 with only £10 - £20 between getting the 570...

I honestly have not looked into much with the new 7000 series so I won't say anything about them! :')

Gainward Phantom GTX 570 £194.58 ----> http://www.waeplus.co.uk/product/223772/GAINWARD-GeForce-GTX-570-Phantom---1280

Which is (From what I can see) the same price range as the 560Ti 448

i was having a similar problem. but the 'normal' 560 ti. i worked out that an oc 560ti with 4 hours a day gaming would cost £35 more a year to power than the 7850 oc!!

even tho the 7850 is £40 more, in just over a year it will pay the difference itself.

now thats taking it to a level most dont consider when purchasing a card lol I'd say 570 as well but if only 2 options I'd go 560ti 448

Hopefully it serves you well

in my opninion you should get the 7850, right now it performs like a 6970 or better using just 1 6pin power connector, you can crossfire them with a 650w psu, and in crossfire they become a very strong force. overclock it to the maximum in CCC with no voltage increase and it becomes like a stock 7870 which competes with a gtx 580

Personally I wouldn't buy a 570, not enough Vram for games like BF3, i'm selling mine and getting a 7950 instead. Unless you want to play it on lower settings, ultra settings at 1080p is a big no on a 570.

well i done a little more looking at cards and i think i will chuck the extra few quid and get a 7870,tho the 570 was tempting i think my mind is made up,just gotta wait 2 days to orde now

I play ultra on my 1.2gb 570 on 1920x1080 all day and get 50fps average and no microstuttering (I compared it to playing on low which did not exceed my vram)
