560 vs. 560 Ti

Hi guys,

I was on some other forum yesterday and i said somethink about a 560 beging better than a 6950 and then they said no, but a 560 Ti was.

I never knew there was 2 560's so i went to the nvidia site to look some stuff up.

But what is the diffrence between the 560 and 560 Ti, and I don't mean scores ore anything but the actual hardware used

the gtx 560Ti has 384 cores where as the gtx560 has 336

Because the gtx560 (NON-ti) is that much less expensive then gtx 560 (TI) !

basically the 560Ti is a budget performance card while the 560 is just budget lol but they perform ok lol

Its not whether they updated there drivers its whether there is a mod that works.

yeah I realized after I posted that lol I thought ya was on a lucid board

keeping everyones rig straight is tuff lol I went and checked ur profile and saw ya was on CHIII but I kept getting time outs so I didnt edit my reply

unfortunately Lucid does not allow a PPU like PhysX (YET)

it comes down to price IMI if there is like 20quid diff then go for the TI

Am looking into this card at the moment I am torn between the 560ti for the price but I like the look of the 570 for performance.

Or either the 6950 for the ability to overclock to the specs of a 6970

The choices!!!!!

The 560Ti can overclock like a pro, probably getting better performance than the 570, up to you if you want to go with the higher volts/temps.
