While I agree, I'd rather have more efficient cores than less efficient. More cores will consume more power and increases complexity for programming and we still have games for example that are hardly multi threaded. Of course not everything is about gaming.

Zen 6 should increase per CCD core counts from 8 to 12, which will be a big change. It will be interesting to see how an AMD 24-core (assuming AMD continues to use two CCDs for Ryzen) will compare to Nova Lake.

Who will have the most performant single cores? Who will be the best at gaming? It should be an interesting generation.
