Larger Drives have finally arrived
It's great that they released an IDE Version because of those who have old servers and don't want to ugprade the motherboard just because an IDE Version of the hdd isn't available.

My opinion is that 500GB drives aren't needed for home users accept for those who do alot of Video Editing and those who have servers. I also think that HDD Manufacturers should focus on speed rather than larger capacity at the moment.

The drive is branded Deskstar, as you'd expect, and is Parallel ATA, rather than SATA. However, there is also a SATA II version which appears here.
