It still looks pretty linear to me. Hopefully you can venture off the path.

I loved Last Light, so look forward to this very much :)

The ONLY game that i will buy new. If you guys read then pick up the Book Metro 2033, super good read.

Also I loved 2033 and currently playing last light redux.

I found 2033 a little hard and the gameplay quite stiff and basic if I'm being honest. Last Light though? Haunting, daunting and beautiful. The story was epic and the companion enchanting. More of that please :)

Best part? I reckon the flashback on the plane.

I never ever played Last Light. I'm thinking I should pick that up, as I'm gameless right now since I finished Prey.

Get it dude. It's absolutely wonderful and in my top 5 ever. They fixed the filters issue the first one had so they are easier to find etc. The gameplay was what received the most tweaks, but I promise you the graphics and the artwork will absolutely blow your frikkin mind. And it's very well balanced out too, between hard core and exploring. I don't know if it was intentional but they really did get it absolutely spot on.

There was one bit that frustrated me a little, but it wasn't being helped by the fact that SLi support was late. I seem to recall a swamp, falling into it, swearing and the FPS tanking which made that part extra difficult. But it was worth pushing on.

So SLI support is in place now? I'm gaming at 4K like you, but with much less GPU horsepower (2 x 980s). Going to search Steam for this when I get home, hope it's dirt cheap now!

Yup they fixed SLi about 95% through my playthrough lmao.

I played it at 1080p on a 55" TV with my xb360 controller as I'd recently moved in with my lady and didn't have a desk. I'm back on 1440p now thank god.

As for me then I had the Redux Pack for a long time yet never had time to play, then I read the book.

I played through 2033 redux and now starting last light. Need to see if there are more books, game seems great.
