4770k Haswell reviewed in China

Quite interesting!
Interested in seeing some i3 Haswell laptop benchmarks. And desktops i3 too :p
Especially since there is no info on i3 Haswell's yet :p

The only interesting thing is that you can crank on the bclk so the I3 might be a top buy again.
So the Haswell i3s can be OC'd? That's a niche!
Intel's going to cash some serious money from the low-end enthusiast market if that really is the case :D

Great, more CPUs I can't afford and will be forever jealous of those who can afford them :D

But it'll be great seeing what people can do with the new chips.

I was getting worried that my 2600K would now be obsolete and left in the dust after the 4770K was released. What a sigh of relief...

The 3770k in that review is getting a big boost from the MPower motherboard, not all those results are like for like.

This doesn't surprise me we all knew that the performance increase would be under 10% it is very rare that Intel "blows the doors off" their previous architecture.

What I am impressed by however is the increase in GPU performance. Practically 40% in Cinebench is nothing to snuff at. This is a good indicator that the mobile Haswell chips will also gain significantly on graphics performance and that is what I care most about right now as I'm about to buy a new laptop.
