Please vote for the more effective program, if u know of a better one, please list :)

If you think they are pointless please use a witty remark to state your views

Thank you

I`ve not thought of using a 3rd party one tbh.

So I`d like to take this opportunity to let u know I`m 1 steak fillet from a beef overdose, so even if u ignore my posts during the week - be sure to ignore anything that happens from here on in coz I`ll be high on beef/cabernet.

Oh and I`ve started using windo$e partition thing in DiskManagement too >.<

lol, im about to have a steak too :yumyum: steakyness

btw im about to try perfectdisk 8 as i currently have perfectdisk 7

I've been using Diskeeper for ages, and it seems to work a treat. That's what I put my vote down for!

I loved it, I noticed that it seemed to better detect fragged sectors on the HD. And I also liked the fact that it interaced in to the Windows defrag program, like takes it over, pretty nifty. I scheduled it to defrag my Raptors every night from 2am-4am and I always had top notch performance.

i did use diskeeper, but i just took it off and put on perfectdisk due to it consolidating free space. :D

i dont really defrag at all, suppose thats naughty of me really. I usually reformat before things grind to shady.

About 3 years. By far the quickest defragger I've tried. Loads of neat features as well.

I'll definately have a look then, thx for the heads up.
