Just use this as spam to see what we`re getting, and b4 we get too serious.

(pc needs a fresh install, rivatuner has knackered stuff up, running safe, no clocking to speak of)

QX9650 @ 3.33ghz, 4g, 8800GT 670/980.(169.28 beta drivers) Vista 64 bit SP1 extremely stripped.

3DMark Score : P5408 3DMarks

CPU Score : 14967

Graphics Score : 4459

Man I've had a look at this and a single run will take 23 mins...

Will take well over an hour if you let it run all the tests.

Did a quick run as I just installed Vista for the first time, after recieveing the SSD (OC3D-competitions FTW!). Since I'm reduced to a single 8800GTS 512-card, I wasn't expecting much, so I just OC'ed the CPU to 3,7GHz and clocked in at 6486 points. Don't know if it's good or bad, but hey, I'll be ordering a 4870x2 in a while, so who cares? :D

It's going to be *the* bencher eventually. Granted not as quickly adopted as 3dmark06. Thinking again, the eventual 3dmark10 or 09 might be more popular.

My main gripe is that (last time I checked) there's no free version of it. Or it was one run only kinda thing. Which is just stupid. Although its not expensive...

Agreed. So there isn't that much encouragement to repeat use it.

And really - not many people will pay the price for something u use a few times then shelf until u buy new stuff.

I got a free copy of 3D Mark Vantage Advanced with my Sapphire 4870 Toxic, so I can run it as much as I like and not have to pay anything.............:)
